MANILA, Philippines — The Commonwealth Market in Quezon City was damaged as fire hit the establishment early Tuesday morning, the Bureau of Fire Protection reported.
According to the BFP-National Capital Region (NCR), the blaze reached the first alarm at 2:37 a.m. and the second alarm by 3 a.m.

Firefighters said it was under control at 7:43 a.m. No word yet if the fire was extinguished as of writing.
