LUCENA CITY — Police anti-narcotics agents seized on Wednesday, Oct. 16, more than P711,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) from an alleged drug trafficker in the island town of Polillo in Quezon province.
Colonel Ruben Lacuesta, Quezon police chief, reported that at 4:10 p.m., anti-illegal drugs operatives raided the residence of 33-year-old Jose Camarador, Jr. in Barangay Poblacion.
Article continues after this advertisementThe raiders, armed with a search warrant issued by Judge Rodolfo Quitolbo Jr. of the Regional Trial Court in Infanta town, found eight plastic sachets containing 34.9 grams of shabu. The estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of the seized shabu is P237,320.

Quezon police are investigating the source of shabu peddled by the suspect.

The municipality, along with Burdeos and Panukulan towns, is located on Polillo Island, facing the Pacific Ocean in the northern part of Quezon.
